• Woah. Look at all the Ward 4 Wannabes! They all wanna be appointed councilfolk for Buck's vacated ward 4 spot cuz by election time in two years, they'll have that incumbent advantage of big bucks from special interests: "Nicholas H. Anderson, Barbara Jean Buttell, P. Jo Cato, Richard Cherchio, Danielle N. Custodio, Dean P. Dennis, Jacqueline Edwards, Regina N. Ford, Sarah Humphreys, Ruth L. Johnson, Delbert E. Leavitt, L. Dean Leavitt, Phyllis Levy, William R. O’Melia, Mark D. Pallans, Laura E. Perkins, Richard Sadler, Suhair Susan Sayegh, Thomas A. Stocks and Jason E. Torres." (Sun) Cato and Leavitt are on planning council. Cherchio is the HOA, etc, guy, and Sarah Humphreys ran that fight against Pardee Apartments. Somebody let me know if that "businessman" who leaked the FBI story against Robinson is in that list, M'kay?

• Oooo. Nellis Air Force Base is getting a cool new fitness center! Say, where'd they get the money for that? "Construction of the new fitness center is made possible due to money received from the lease agreement between the City of North Las Vegas and the Air Force. In this agreement, Nellis leased a 41-acre parcel of land for a new water reclamation plant. In turn, the city paid the Air Force $25 Million which will be used to construct a new state-of-the art fitness center." (Aerotechnews). Oh.
