Why Not Simply Impeach Him?

Well, it's probably a waste of time given the Republican shill running the ethics commission, but the Democrats went ahead anyways and filed an ethics complaint against Gooberner James Gibbons today. 

“Mr. Gibbons, in order to gain a few thousand dollars in tax breaks — which the legislators of this state have determined are appropriate for Nevada ranchers and farmers to supplement and encourage their livelihoods — pressured and prevailed upon a longtime public servant who sought only to apply the laws of this state fairly and accurately,” the complaint states. Well this should be entertaining at least.

Hmm. The Nevada Democrats are saying they have a 60,000 registered voter advantage over Republicans in the state, and Reggio only found 20 people to walk his canvas, including Brian Krolicki, so that makes about 19 and a half. Raggio's got some work to do.

ETHICS COMPLAINTS ARE PROSTITUTED JOKES
Besides the fact that the critters on the panel are a bunch of charlatans when it comes to being any sort of experts on "ethics"... there is the real problem that the Ethcomm (BURP!) has no way to punish the never-ending mendacities that permeate most of Nevada gooberment.
